Fair trade, is it fair?
In our groups opinion, Fair trade is a good solution to the unfair labor practices in third world countries. The people in third world countries were so neglected and poor BEFORE they were employed by sweat shops, and they thought that their pay and their conditions were good to begin with. In the Fair trade movement, they were given more than they believed they needed, but to us, an americanized society, is not even enough to survive in our world.

agreed, we need sweatshops so that individuals aren't on the streets and dying! they are doing their best to survive and without the sweatshops a huge number of the population would have neither shelter nor food. its a tough situation but at least do not take their only income away.

This article voices the concerns, that many people have against sweatshop labor. The article gave weight to the fight for the continuation of sweatshop labor. They discussed the pro of sweatshop labor. This goes against the status quo of going against sweatshop labor.

I agree with this because even tho it might sound right to not buy their products, it wont be since we will take a lot of peoples jobs away from them, and that will take their only opportunity to get money away.
